We warmly welcome you to a new edition of Chit Chat: a moment where artists meet and engage in dialogue about their practice. This edition will take place on Thursday, June 11 at 18h in the new BLANCO space at Convent 15. All artists and interested visitors are welcome, even if you do not have a studio at NUCLEO.
Maya Fluss, who recently completed a two-month residency at NUCLEO through the Südtiroler Künstlerbund, will speak during the Chit Chat about her practice as an artist, designer, and sex educator. Maya has roots in both the Alps (Italy) and the Andes (Peru). She graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven. Her practice explores intimacy and ecological relationships from an eco-queer-feminist perspective, focusing on how bodies, identities, and environments are shaped by systems of power and care.
The talk will be followed by a presentation of the work in progress that Maya developed during her residency.
See you on Thursday, June 11, 18:00 — Groot Begijnhof 15, 9040 Sint-Amandsberg.
