BLANCO and Sphinx café join forces and give artists the freedom to interact with the space and visitors by creating art on-site.

on view until May 31, 2025

For the next three months, every Thursday, Manon De Craene will paint a piece on the wall of Sphinx Café within a 2m x 2m square. The work will unfold like spring itself, each phase will be a piece in its own right, given time to exist before evolving. The public is invited to closely follow this transformation and become part of the process.

Manon approaches her work like a pinball machine. Within the square format, she explores layering and color through paint.

An initiative by La Luna vzw and NUCLEO, with the support of the City of Ghent.
