NUCLEO creates space for the artistic development of visual artists.
Exchange with Südtiroler Künstlerbund
In 2026, NUCLEO will organise an exchange with the Südtiroler Künstlerbund (SKB). Like NUCLEO, this association of artists from South Tyrol provides studio and exhibition space for professional artists. The pilot project includes a two-month residency and an exhibition in BLANCO for an SKB artist. This will take place at Convent 15 in the spring of 2026 and will be selected through an open call.
Artistic guidance in Ghent will be provided by Linda Jasmin Mayer, an artist from South Tyrol who lives in Ghent and has a studio with NUCLEO at Lindenlei. In the autumn, the exchange will move in the opposite direction, when a NUCLEO artist will spend several months in South Tyrol. An open call for this will follow via our internal newsletter.
